About - Liberty Church International

Liberty Church International is a vibrant community of faith where people of all ethnicities and ages come together to worship and serve God. There’s a contagious expectancy that God is doing something miraculous in each of our lives. And we have confidence in the power of the Gospel to transform, heal, free, and abundantly bless the lives of men and women everywhere who give themselves to Jesus Christ.

We dress comfortably and our worship is enthusiastic.

Diane Robinson

Diane Robinson serves as joint senior pastor, alongside her husband, Peter, at Liberty.  Born in Oakland, CA, the youngest of four children, to the late William and National Evangelist Williette Means, who were church planters and a dynamic evangelistic team.

Passionate about prison and hospital chaplaincy work, she currently serves as a religious volunteer at Santa Rita County Jail, Dublin, Valley State Prison, Chowchilla, and volunteer chaplain at Washington Hospital, Fremont, CA.  Many have been saved, baptized in the Holy Spirit, healed, and delivered from demonic possession through her ministry.  She has served in prison ministry since 2001.

Diane holds a B.A. degree from Patten University in Biblical and General Studies, and is an ordained minister since 1993.  She actively serves on the City Serve Pastors Association of the Tri Cities. Diane also serves as Pastoral Representative for the Veteran’s Washington Township, Fremont, CA.

Preacher, prayer warrior, singer and writer; Diane’s favorite scripture is Matthew 25:35-46

Membership

Your membership means more than simply signing a piece of paper. It is not a means of salvation; becoming a member of Liberty or any other church does not assure anyone of eternal life in heaven. Becoming a member of Liberty expresses your commitment to this “spiritual family,” a family that worships together, grows in faith together, and serves one another. Members of the early church committed themselves to local fellowships where they devoted themselves to receiving teaching, enjoying fellowship, celebrating community, and joining in prayer.

(Acts 2:42-46)
Apart from a local church, believers have a hard time developing relationships of accountability, a sense of responsibility to the body of Christ and to the world, an intimate sense of community, and a meaningful sense of destiny and purpose. Following the example set by the early church we are committed to connecting with you and desire to help you solidify your faith and find a place at Liberty. We provide a self-paced study called Discovering Church Membership. When you are finished with the study we have a Tie-it-together session with others who have also finished their studies. You will have an opportunity to talk to the pastors one on one if you have questions that weren’t answered in the study. To register for this self-study class fill out a Membership Class Registration Form. You can pick one up at the information table or Download a form here. You will receive your self-study guide and CD when you turn in your form.

Our Beliefs
1. God is bigger, better, and closer than we could ever imagine. (Ephesians 3:20-21)
2. God is the Creator of all that exists. (Genesis 1:1; John 1:1-3)
3. In Jesus Christ, God made himself known in history. (John 1:14)
4. The only way we can know God is through Jesus Christ. (Matt 11:27)
5. We cannot work our way into relationship with God; Jesus Christ had to open the door for us through his death and resurrection. (Romans 3:23-24)
6. The Bible is God’s love letter to humankind. In it, God’s plan for our salvation is made known. (Romans 10:17)
7. God has given us the freedom to accept or reject his plan of salvation. (Joshua 24:15; Hebrews 4:7)
8. Faith is the way we accept God’s plan of salvation. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
9. Heaven and Hell are real places. Death is not the end of our existence; it is a new beginning. (Luke 23:40-43; Revelation 20:11-15)
10. The Church is to live the way Jesus lived and minister the way he ministered. (John 20:21)
11. Jesus is coming again. (Acts 1:11; Revelation 1:7)

Core Values

1. We are committed to intentionally reach the unreached, teach the untaught, bring the unbrought, and go where they are.
2. We commit ourselves to the challenge of being a church that genuinely cares for one another and for those who are lost, hurting, and needy.
3. We are committed to making prayer the highest priority of our church.
4. We are committed to identifying and developing individuals whom God has called and given leadership gifts and challenging them to become servant-leaders.
